SAJ Fall Camporee

 

The application form for this event should be turned into the Plaza Scout Service Center.

1. Theme: TBD (To Be Determined)
2. Period: Nov.28(Fri) – 30(Sun)
3. Place: Ishikawa Youth Center（TEL098-964-3263）

• Camp site: Camping area
• Cooking : Cooking Area
• Activities : An athletic ground and others
• The gate closing time: 22:00（Nobody can go in and out by car after 22:00）
• An emergency gathering place: gymnasium

4. Participants : Registered Boy Scouts and Troop Leaders
5. Deadline : Oct.31(Fri)
6. Participation Fee : The individual fee ¥1500/person

• Troop fee ¥1000/troop

7. Things to keep in Mind
   1. Ceremony
   1. Wear a scout uniform & cap
   2. Bring Troop Flag and Patrol Flags
   2. Activities
   1. Each patrol is active by a lead of patrol leader, and act with his patrol unit.
   2. Each patrol bring a patrol flag.
   3. Scouts must wear an activity wear, a hat and a neckerchief during activities.
   3. Camping
   1. Each troop must set up tents in the appointed place in the campsite.
   4. Cooking
      1. Each patrol must use and cook in a cooking area. (Have to use and cook with firewood on first day dinner. Have to use and cook with gas on second day breakfast.）
      2. When developing a menu try not to use too much water in the recipe as water will be limited.
8. Safety

• Each Scout Master must teach safety measures for scouts enough.

9. Clean-up
   1. Each troop can fold tents before time from getting up to a morning gathering on the last day, but cannot carry it out. (Each troop have to put troop equipments in order in troop camp site.）
   2. Each troop must bring the equipments from the campsite after the closing ceremony.
10. Personal Equipment
    1. A uniform, a cap, a change of clothes, a tableware / cooking tool complete set, compasses, bedding (Sleeping bag, roll mat), a water bottle, a knife, a rope, a writing instrument, a tent, other items used for hiking and camping
